Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yildizhan was born in Samsun in 1956. He completed his primary and secondary education in Bursa and then attended Kuleli Military High School, where he graduated as a valedictorian. He preferred to study medicine instead of military academy and enrolled in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating from here, he served his military service as a Neurosurgery Specialist at Gulhane Military Medical Academy. Yildizhan went to the United States and received 'postgraduate' education at Harvard University, and his scientific studies have been included as references in classical medical books published in the USA and in various journals around the world. He is known for his surgeries performed on a large number of lumbar disc herniations, spinal stenosis and spinal cord patients from Turkey and abroad. Yildizhan uses the “Microtechnical Internal Decompression” method, which is a “screwless” and therefore very advantageous method, when performing surgeries on people diagnosed with “spinal stenosis”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yildizhan was elected as a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and was awarded the “Genius” medal by the American Biographical Institute and was named among the Great Minds of the 21st Century. He was also included among the 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge. He is currently practicing in Turkey and is recognized as one of the top 100 doctors in the world. Yildizhan is also a philosopher, International Fellow of the American Assocation of Neurological Surgeons (IFAANS) and Founding Member of the Cambridge Order of Estemeed Intellectuals. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yildizhan, who has written books on various subjects, has also published Kultur Dunyası, Insan Adina, Sagliginiz and Egitim Bilim magazines. In addition, his book “The Teaching of Yildizhan”, which contains the entire Universal Teaching, has been published and delivered to many distinguished readers, important libraries and leaders in our country and in the world.
